Judges play a key role in child welfare proceedings and are responsible for upholding the law and providing critical checks and balances to ensure that children and family’s rights are preserved. Children’s Justice Coalition supports legislation that increases judicial accountability.
The Montana Judicial Standards Commission– If you have a complaint of unethical conduct or misconduct against a judge, you can file a grievance here. Please note that this Commission does not have appellate jurisdiction. If you are unhappy with a court decision, the appropriate remedy is to appeal to a higher court.
